After a sudden downpour yesterday, Dad and I took a walk and everywhere we turned, mushrooms and toadstools had popped up on the forest floor. So magical.

I’ve been watching a couple of Eastern Bluebirds in my yard since spring. Against the backdrop of my neighbor’s barn, they’ve built their home inside a rustic gray bird house nailed against an ancient power pole.
