Jerri Yager is a life-long writer born in a small town in Central Illinois. She raised her family on the south side of Indianapolis and is currently empty-nesting with her husband and their dog, Pig in Austin TX. Her current projects include this blog, a collection of personal essays about growing up in the rural Midwest, and a young adult novel in which the teenage protagonist must decide whether to honor her own integrity or follow the crowd.
During business hours she is the Administrative Director of Yager & Sons Home Services, Inc., a company owned by her husband Al, providing construction consulting for the hospitality industry.
Jerri is a member of the Writers′ League of Texas, Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and a volunteer for Austin Bat Cave.
